When a rollator brake stops holding or a wheel wears out, most people don't need a new rollator. They need one part. The hard part is ordering the right one, because Drive Medical makes dozens of rollators that look almost the same but take different parts. The fastest way to get it right is to start with your model number.
Where to find the model number on your rollator
Drive Medical puts a white or silver label on every rollator. Check these spots:
- Under the seat. Flip the seat up and look at the underside or the frame just below it. This is the most common spot.
- Inside the frame. Look along the inside of the side frame tubes or the cross brace.
- Near the folding mechanism. On some models the label sits close to the folding latch.
Use your phone's flashlight. Labels on older rollators can be faded or scuffed, so a photo you can zoom in on helps.

How to read the label
The label lists a few numbers. The one you want is on the line marked REF or Model. Drive rollator model numbers often start with RTL or are a 5-digit number, for example RTL10266CF (Nitro Elite CF) or 10266HD (Nitro HD).
The label also shows a serial number (often marked SN). Write it down too. Drive sometimes changes parts partway through a model's life, and the serial number tells us which version you have.
Common mistake: many customers send us "HX5 9JP" as their model number. That's the postcode of Drive Medical's UK office, printed on the label, not your model.
No label? How to tell your model apart
If the label is gone, these details narrow it down:
- Wheel size. Measure across the front wheel. Drive rollators commonly use 6", 7.5", 8" or 10" wheels. The Nitro family uses 10" front casters.
- Frame shape. The Nitro has a curved, cross-brace frame that folds side to side. Most standard rollators fold front to back.
- Three or four wheels. Three-wheel rollators like the Go-Lite / Winnie Lite take their own set of parts.
- Seat height. The Nitro comes in standard, Tall and Hemi (low) heights, and each has its own parts list.
- Does it convert to a transport chair? If it has footrests and pushes like a wheelchair, it's likely the Duet.
Still not sure? Send us a photo of the whole rollator and one of the brake handle through chat, and we'll identify it for you.
Find your part
Once you have your model, open its parts listing. Each one has Drive's parts list, and most include the official parts diagram. Find your part's number on the diagram, then click Choose part.

The parts people order most
- Brake cables and hand brakes. If the brakes feel loose, the cable may just need adjusting. If it's frayed or the handle is cracked, replace it.
- Wheels and casters. Flat spots or wobbling mean it's time. Replace wheels in pairs so the rollator rolls evenly.
- Seats and backrests. Torn seats and cracked backrests are common on rollators that get used every day.
- Baskets and pouches. These are easy swaps that make an older rollator feel new.
