The preset default flexion is 20 degrees. Lateral plastic stays stabilize the knee. Their special shape adapts to every angle of the bars, allowing continuous adjustment. Padding in the hollow of the knee provides comfort while you are immobilized – especially when lying down. Two opposing Velcro straps on the thigh and lower leg facilitate putting the orthosis on and taking it off, and ensure a secure and easily adjustable fit around the wearer’s leg. The breathable supporting material cushions the anatomically shaped aluminum bars, is pleasantly soft on the skin, and also washable.
